We all love skincare and amazing tips about routines and products, but it’s almost Christmas, which means everyone’s focus (including ours) is on enjoying the holidays!
One of the most important parts of the festive spirit are the Christmas decorations. They can turn our houses into fairytales, but they can also cost huge amounts of money, so why not go DIY on at least some of them? Here’s a couple of suggestions we found on the web to kickstart your projects in time!
- Unusual Christmas trees
If you’re not the traditional type, you might just be bored with plain old green trees. If that’s the case, not to worry: alternatives can be found for everyone’s taste. Bookworms can make a tree out of their books, while wood lovers can use planks to create their own shape and size of a tree. Our favorite suggestion is this mason jar Christmas tree, which doesn’t even have to be your primary tree, but can also serve as an additional one! Of course, you can make it bigger or smaller per preference, but if you live in a studio or a small one-bedroom apartment, this might just be the one you’re looking for!
- A wreath you made yourself
Wreaths are one of the nicest decorations: they make your guests feel welcome even before entering your home, but they make your arrival from work nicer too!
Usually, wreaths are made with all shades of red decorating them, but we stumbled upon this lovely snowy wreath that enchanted us completely. Give it a try!
- Making a great centerpiece
It can be a bowl of treats, a basket of decorations or just a lovely decorated candle holder… it’s completely up to you! Our suggestion is to get a tall glass bowl and fill it with leftover tree decorations, such as lanterns, garlands and lights. And while we’re at it, you can try and make this type of arrangement for all around your home – the windows, living room or anywhere else you’d like
Christmas spirit is an awesome reason to step away from your usual chores and tasks and move into the world of magic and joy. We wish you all the best for the holidays and hope you’ll spend them in love and joy!
