Skin Care Tips for the True Good Lookers: Regular & Proper Skin Cleansing
One of the most important factors of beautiful and youthful skin is regular and proper cleansing. During the whole day, a certain amount of dust and sweat accumulates on our skin. Moreover, our skin has to put up with our make-up, powder, different creams and lipsticks. That is why our skin needs everyday washing. There are several ways to remove our makeup.
The first way is to wash your face with face soap. It’s a fast method but the problem is the soap can dry out or damage your skin. Washing with soap is not a good solution for most women, especially for those who have dry or sensitive skin.
The second way is more permissive. You wash you face with the help of micellar water or face lotions. The great plus of the latter is that it removes makeup and impurities in a gentle way. Face lotions create a special membrane line on your skin which gives it more moisture and at the same time the skin is sponging up with nutrients. If you have sensitive or allergy predisposed skin, it is better to choose lotions or milks with extracts of chamomile and calendula, which have the soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.
In addition to everyday washing, once or twice a week should remove dead cells with scrubs. You can make scrubs at home, for example using milled coffee beans or sea salt. After scrubbing your face becomes soft and the black spots are minimized.
Face Masks, creams and your skin type
According to your skin type, face care products, ingredients and routines vary.
It is extremely important to know the type of your skin. If you are unsure about your skin type, consult a specialist. If skin care is important for you, it should be advised by experts. It’s not much different than other issues you may be facing in your everyday life (like when you can’t write your term paper – you go to the net to find term paper order).
The easiest way to determine the type of your skin: when you get up in the morning, put a thin paper napkin on your face. If you see the signs of residue on it – your skin is oily. If the residue signs appear in some places only – then you have combination skin. If the napkin stays clean, your skin is normal or dry.
To distinguish normal skin from dry, you should wash your face with soap and water. If after this procedure you have the feeling of tightness, your skin is dry.
If you have normal skin, the use of cosmetic products can be minimized. It is best to wash your face in the morning and evening, using face milks instead of soap. Normal skin requires more water, so it’s good to choose a light liquid moisturizer or gel. Look for aloe or algae extracts and after 25 – collagen.
Dry skin is flaky and sluggish, especially on the cheeks, which is why it needs moisturizing the most. Since oil glands don’t secrete adequate amounts of oil, the skin becomes dewatered. Use cleansing creams with a bit of tonic or face lotion. Use nourishing creams as well to replenish moisture.
Oily skin is shiny and prone to rashes. The oil glands produce more oil than necessary, making pores enlarged. If you have oily skin, wash it at least twice a day with soap and water. Do not use fatty creams but instead try using special light ones.
If you have this skin type you need to take care of both types of skin – dry and oily. Parts of your face with oily skin should be cleaned with toning lotions and parts with dry skin require the same care as dry skin.

- Nuts contain vitamin E and coenzyme Q10 which accelerate the process of regeneration and nutrition of skin cells.
- Olive oil helps get rid of dry skin. It is a source of beneficial oil acids and vitamins A,D,E.
- It is known that green tea is the leader among antioxidants. You should drink a couple of cups per day, preferably with lemon. Green tea can also be used externally as a remedy for bags under the eyes.
- Components of cottage cheese include selenium and vitamin E. These are powerful antioxidants that can slow down aging!
- Sour Berries and fruits such as grapefruits, kiwi, blackcurrants and strawberries contain a lot of vitamin C, which strengthens blood vessels and helps form collagen.
- Saltwater fish such as salmon, sardines, herring and mackerel are sources of vitamins A and D, and omega-3 fatty acids. They improve blood circulation too!
- Mature avocado is full of essential oils that nourish the skin. It also contains niacin, which is very important for healthy skin.
